Our Mission
Empowering every child through play-based therapy, compassion, and care. Extraordinary Kids was founded by a pediatric occupational therapist and a pediatric registered nurse who shared a vision - to create a joyful, inclusive space where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. We are dedicated to meeting each child exactly where they are and helping them reach their fullest potential.
Our Core Values
Play
Our play-based approach enhances engagement and connection.
Potential
Childhood, when neuroplasticity is at its highest, is the time when therapeutic interventions will have the most impact.
Purpose
Each child has specific, meaningful, and measurable goals, with activities and interventions designed to target those goals.
Partnership
Families are the heart of our work. We provide home programs and education for caregivers to complement our treatment programs.
About Us
Erin Snetsky, OTR/L Co-Founder & Licensed Occupational Therapist
Erin is a licensed occupational therapist with a specialized focus in pediatric OT and feeding therapy. Before becoming an OT, Erin spent years as an elementary school teacher — giving her a unique and invaluable perspective on how children learn, grow, and flourish in structured environments. She has dedicated her career to helping children build the skills they need to thrive — at mealtimes, in the classroom, and in everyday life. Erin's approach is rooted in sensory integration, play-based learning, and a genuine belief that every child has extraordinary potential waiting to be unlocked. Erin co-founded Extraordinary Kids to create a space where children feel celebrated, families feel empowered, and therapy feels like the best part of the day.
EJ Snetsky, RN, CPN Co-Founder & Pediatric Registered Nurse
EJ brings years of hands-on pediatric nursing experience and a deep love for children to everything he does at Extraordinary Kids. As a Certified Pediatric Nurse, EJ understands the whole child — not just their diagnosis — and is passionate about creating a clinic where every family feels seen, supported, and at home. His medical background ensures that every child who walks through our doors receives care that is not only joyful and play-based, but also safe, informed, and grounded in clinical excellence. EJ co-founded Extraordinary Kids because he believed the West Valley deserved a therapy clinic that truly puts kids first.
